It was better than we imagined, and we know that it was because of your hard work and "personalized professionalism," which is to say that while you remained the consummate professional, your personal attention and attitude made the event special and kept us from feeling like another "contract" or "quickie wedding." I would like to start off by saying thank you and God bless you. The world we live in today can be so hard to trust anyone around us let alone someone we have never met. When I first talked to you on the phone after finding you on the internet I just knew in my heart that you could be trusted. The tone you used and the honesty when you spoke made me feel so confident that I put my trust issues to the side and went for it. You kept telling me “trust me” and show up on time and everything will be perfect. I never met you before until the day before the wedding, gave you a brief description of flowers I liked and my favorite colors. I could not believe it when I showed up to the chapel (on time haha) my flowers were to die for, the ceremony was PERFECT , and most of all my reception was something right out of a millionaires magazine and all I had was finger foods which was delicious ,that room was GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved all the candle light and the pretty colored fabrics and you were the hostess with the mostess. Cindy you will never know how much I appreciated everything you did, I am so grateful that I entrusted you with my wedding day and I am always here if you need a referral for someone else with the same trust issues that I have. Hello! We got married in your chapel March 31st, 1996 and were there earlier this month for a visit and it's still so beautiful. Of course, now, the tiny little bushes are nice big grown-together bushes and there's lots of added touches, like the wood patio area. We've watched our video you made from our big day and catch small things we don't even remember 'til we see them on tape - such a great ceremony and entire mood with beautiful surroundings. Hello, I just wanted to drop you an email and compliment the group at Mountain Valley Chapel. My husband and I were married at Mountain Valley Chapel on April 6th. The chapel was absolutely beautiful and with the scenic mountains outside, the view was spectacular and breath taking. Our ceremony and experience with Mountain Valley Chapel was wonderful. Dear Cindy, I wanted to drop you a note of a million Thanks for all you did for Tim and I. My flowers were breathtaking, the staff was awesome, and most of all Rev. Lucas knew just what to say. I was so amazed how a man could meet us for five minutes and make us feel like we grew up in his presences, WOW!!!!! I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding than you gave to us. I can’t tell you and your staff how much I appreciated everything you did. But most important I personally thank you Cindy for your most talent, personality, and generosity above all the rest. There are no words to describe how thrilled Bill and I were to see how organized you all are. The chapel was absolutely beautiful and the ceremony was wonderful. The whole family enjoyed themselves and wishes to thank all of you for everything. I was so pleased with the flowers, cake and minister. So many people have complimented us on the pictures. Bridget and Chris Dillingham I guess I shall start this letter by saying that it is only natural that any Father would want his daughter's wedding to be absolutely perfect. I am no different than any other Father. I will not lie. I was very apprehensive in allowing a wedding chapel in the mountains of Tennessee totally plan and organize my little girl's wedding. I had thoughts and visions of things being unorganized and not up to the caliber I felt my daughter deserved. How wrong you have proven me to be. Heather and Chad's wedding was beautiful. Every detail was planned and taken care of exactly as you said it would be. All of our guests have told us how beautiful the chapel and wedding was. The ceremony was very personal. The minister spoke to Heather and Chad as though he had always known them. The reception was great. It exceeded our expectations by far. I received a call from my daughter upon their arrival at their honeymoon cabin. Her exact words were "Dad, it is something right out of a magazine, it is beautiful." The quality of the photos were as good as any I have ever seen. When you told me the video was professionally produced and edited I had no idea what to expect. Everyone who has seen it has said it is the best wedding video they have ever seen. I hope you can tell from my words how happy and pleased we are with the service you provided for our daughter's wedding. Her mother and I want to express our thanks and gratitude for everything you did. Mountain Valley Chapel has a special meaning in our hearts. Danny and Charlotte Latham It's the day after Christmas and I'm just coming up for air. Planning a wedding and having guests and Christmas was probably not a very smart thing to do, but planning a wedding through your chapel was one of the best things we could have done! It truly was a wedding of perfection. My friends and family are still talking about it. People love a wedding and this one topped everyone's expectations. Most of my guests remarked how simply beautiful the chapel was and how expertly everyone handled all of the nervous bridal party. The highlight for them was the minister's message. He was so genuine in his ability to present to these two newlyweds a hope for continued love by balancing God's love, family and life's reality together. Thanks to all who helped make this a lifetime memory for us all. Tom and Kathy Miller and I just wanted to take a moment now that I am back home from our most wonderful adventure and extend the most heartfelt thank you. Like any other Bride, I was extremely nervous about making my wedding day the most perfect day for everyone. I researched day and night for weeks, looking both at home and beyond, for the perfect place to hold my precious event. I found your chapel's website and fell instantly in love with it! In fact, I called the very next day and reserved my wedding without any other thought! As the day grew closer, I began to panic, not knowing if I had gone crazy for choosing a remote location I had never seen before and trusting them with my most precious day. The day we arrived in Pigeon Forge, I noticed all the chapels lining the parkway and began to doubt my decision in a hurry, they were all lined up looking very impersonal. Then I was taken to Mountain Valley Chapel and instantly my worries disappeared! I have never seen such a breathtaking place. It was stunning. Our wedding was the most beautiful wedding we had all attended according to all the guests and everyone who has seen the pictures. Our pictures are so gorgeous!! Also, everyone was amazed at the video, the way you mix and zoom in is just perfect. Once again, I just want to thank you all for making my Wedding Day the most memorable day I could have ever dreamed of! Bridget and Allen Frady (Aiken, SC) I just had to write you a letter and let you know how much I LOVED MY WEDDING. It was my dream wedding. Susan, you were just wonderful to my mom and I. My flowers were just perfect. The hairdresser was great, she did my hair and makeup just like I wanted it done. You all took care of everything for us. People are still commenting on the things the preacher said. Saying it was the prettiest ceremony they had ever heard. I really thought there is no way we will pull this wedding off without a rehearsal, but you all told us exactly what to do and it worked perfect. The lady who took our pictures was wonderful and did such a good job. the limo driver that took us to our reception was extremely nice. And our reception just blew my mind. It was absolutely breath taking. My cake and the grooms cake were perfect. The food was delicious, the white chair covers, the table linens and the balloons were just like a picture in a book. And the video of our wedding - well, I have never seen anything like it before. It was out of this world. We all have been fighting over who is going to keep it at their house. I cannot tell you how much we loved our ceremony! The chapel was so beautifully decorated and the service was outstanding!! Pastor Jerry took Cybil's request and unfolded the most beautiful ceremony (which was so important to us with our strong Southern Baptist beliefs). The photographer was super and so personable - working with Cybil to assure she got the shots most important to her. The chapel and grounds are just breath-taking. And to think the wedding video was complete when we left the chapel and ready for our viewing at the reception - what else could one expect? The flowers were so gorgeous . . . All of our guests were impressed with the inside of the chapel and how it was decorated . . . the minister used our names throughout the entire service which was so personal that it made us feel like he knew us both . . . We were so happy with the pictures; the quality was excellent. The photographer was so pleasant, and we both felt so relaxed with her that it reflects in our faces and the pictures she took . . . The video amazed everyone. We don't know how it was done since we got it so fast, but we have watched it several times . . . My husband and I were skeptical that God would even be mentioned because we felt it would be a very secular service, but you proved us completely wrong!
