The Unity Candle Service As the Bride and Groom together light the unity candle, each with their own single candle, the minister speaks on the symbolism of how those two flames, together, become one flame...just as their marriage unites their two separate lives into one life together. Upon the lighting of the unity candle, special music selected by the Bride and Groom begins to play. As the music plays, they will hold hands, facing one another. When the music fades, the minister then pronounces them Husband and Wife. |

The release of white doves after a wedding ceremony brings excitement to the Bride and Groom and their guests. The doves will always return to their home and to the mate they have chosen for life. Releasing a pair of doves at your wedding is symbolic of becoming one in marriage. Flying side-by-side, doves will stay together throughout life signifying harmony, love and a happy home. Weather and temperature restrictions apply on releasing of the doves. |
